Day 2

We had a good time today as well! The princess was not as into it today as she was yesterday though due to the fact she stayed up too late. We had to go to the mall to get DH some new shirts for work and I got me some tennis shoes:
(I love new shoes!!! :)

So we didn't get home until 9:30 last night and the girls are used to going to bed at 8:00. They were both sleepy this morning and the princess kept throwing herself on the floor saying "I'm too tired to do this!" We did manage to get it all done though and we had a great time, regardless.
This weekend we're going to a theme park a couple hours from my house with my family. I'm really excited and so are the girls!

1st Day of Preschool

We had such a fun time!! The princess was so good. I am amazed at how she can write her name and print the letter 'F', which is the letter we are on this week. We really enjoyed ourselves. I can't wait for tomorrow! Munchkin just kind of hung out and tried to join in as much as possible.

My childhood dog is being put to sleep :(

My Dad just called my and told me that my dog, Prissy was going to the vet to be put down. She's almost 15 years old and she can't see or hear and she's losing control of her body. I just am soo upset. I loved that dog like part of our family and it really hurts to lose her.

Our Homeschool Schedule

It's Friday!! I love the weekend!! DH and I get to stay up late and get time to ourselves while the girls are in bed....we get to sleep in a little on Saturday morning.... I fix a big yummy breakfast.... lots of fun family time together! Tomorrow night we're going to see "Horton Hears a Who" at the park.
I've got a lot of things to accomplish today if I want the house to be clean before Monday. I'm just praying I don't come down with the strep throat that the girls had this past week (which they are feeling much better from now).

This is our preschool schedule (or what I hope it will be!) :

3 days left...

Until we start preschool for the princess! Yesterday I got most of the laundry done and nothing else. Today I'm going to clean the kitchen, do the rest of the laundry and clean the bathrooms. This summer I worked Thursday afternoons in my parents ice cream shop and today is my last day. I go at 1:00 to get my allergy shots and I go to work at 5:00. That means I need to get dinner ready before DH gets home! Off to clean the kitchen...

Getting the house ready...

Today my goal is to get every piece of laundry in the entire house washed! I really want to start school on Monday (I'm too excited to wait!). This gives me motivation to get the house good and clean. In between laundry loads I am going to deep clean the kitchen and the bathrooms. Tomorrow I am going to deep clean the living and dining rooms and Friday I will deep clean the bedroom.
The princess and the munchkin both have strep throat so I'm not sure how much of these goals I'm actually going to accomplish but it's worth a shot!

My First Post

I honestly hope that I will be able to keep this updated! I am sooo bad about starting something and then forgetting about it. I just wanted to be able to remember what was going on in my girls' lives during this time. 'The munchkin' just turned 2 and 'the princess' just turned 4 and we are starting preschool next week. We are using the Sonlight P4/5 curriculum and I am very excited about it! I am going to go play around with my blog settings now!
